Hannah is a peacemaker, a mom, a wife, an Enneagram 9, a stylist, a baker, a chef, a prophet, and a constant source of joy, depth, and fun. We met years ago when she moved into the apartment above mine on NW 23rd Ave in Portland, OR. She was the cute girl upstairs. Since then, she’s become the most important person in my life.
I’m blessed to have a front row seat to watch her love and support women in the most intimate and vulnerable spaces, and am constantly in awe of how transformative her presence and love are for these women. I picked her up from a birth recently, and when she left the room, the Dr. told her client “I’ve been doing this for over 25 years, and that was the best doula I’ve ever seen.” Hann will never tell you that, because she’s far too humble, but when it comes to going into the crazy ride of bringing a person into this world, there isn’t a better copilot than Hann.
We’ve lived in Portland for the past decade, but are currently spending a season in Minneapolis/St. Paul to invest in family and allow our boy to be near his grandparents (and vice versa).
